ReadME

This is probably the first ReadMe you have ever read.
When I saw this bar graph I was thoroughly surprised. I don't know if you can read it, probably not. But the red bars show the number of military deaths in WWII and the orange bars show the number of civilian deaths. Basically, the Soviet Union and China got pummeled, and Poland Indonesia, and India had almost entirely civilian casualties. If you scan down to the 7th or so allied force you see the United States. In WWII, the US lost 1 soldier for every 52 that the Soviet Union lost, not even counting civilian deaths. The pie graph shows that over half of the WWII deaths were Allied civilians, followed by Allied military, and finally Axis military and axis civilians, in that order. Ok, enough of history.
I have been living an extremely sedentary life style these past few days. Basically, I have just been studying and getting ready for my remaining two final exams. The marketing test on Monday, which seems easy but that is always a huge pitfall so I am study hard regardless. And, I have yet to start my 15 page paper for Relaciones Internacionales Contemporaneas, but I have all of my research done so it will be more or less putting it all together in a more or less coherente way. Pretty funny video about Husky Football and Apple Cup:

I guess missing football season wasn't devastating. Shit, I missed Thanksgiving. Turkey, stuffing, green bean caserole, sweet potatoes, cider, ham, the token brussel sprout.
What's new, well after I get my finals sorted out on Thursday I have aspiration of going to Mar de la Plata. One of my good friends down here is pulling some strings and hopefully we can stay in an Argentine's house. Everyone at my school is so fucking loaded. They all have multiple houses it seems which is not common in Argentina.
Spanish Update, because my family was giving me shit. In an academic context everything's good, I read at about 60% of the speed I read English. Where I get into trouble is speaking because, while my accent isn't as bad as the American from the South, it is noticeable and I make errors when I am speaking. Also, when there is a group of Argentines together, especially guys, its really hard to understand them. Also, when I went to Córdoba for some reason it was much harder to understand them. By the way, when I made my list of Spanish swear words I forget a key one: hijo de puta, and for girls, hija de puta. It's nice they make the distinction because in English daughters of bitches just get lumped in with sons of bitches. It also makes it clear the evolution of the word "bitch". At some point it must of meant whore. You son/daughter of a whore! Now bitch just means a unfriendly manipulative women, but son of a whore makes a lot of sense.

Here is a map of the itinerary for when you guys come to Argentina. The white arrow goes up to Iguazu and the two blue points indicate the falls as well as some near by ancient ruins that I was told were very good. The two blue points near Buenos Aires are Tigre and Colonia, Uruguay which me, mom, and julianne will do as day trips. Then we all meet up in Bariloche (green dot) by flying (white arrow). After a week there we are taking a bus back which is represented with the pink line. Yes it's 20 hours, get over it. Read a book, do suduku, or idly waste your time. Then when we are in Buenos Aires I'll take you around the city which will need the full week. Alright, that's all I have for now. I really haven't accomplished anything this week outside of studying. You guys should review your spanish. At least learn these 10 verbs in present tense:
tener, estar, ser, ayudar, querer, tomar (it's to drink, it's not beber in Argentina), ir, hacer, poder, poner, hablar, saber, comer, aprender, venir, and "hay" which basically means "there is/there are/ are there?/ is there?. Alright, I put 15 verbs but they are essential. Only people educated in good universities are going to speak English. Most normal people don't speak any English so it is really a necessity. If you guys need any help, ask me. Ok, later.
