That list is mostly for me, but I think I will post more frequently on Brazil that other people may find interesting. One example is that when you go into many Brazilian restaurant they will hand you a little piece of paper with everything on the menu and little tick marks. Whenever you order something the water will tick off whatever you ordered, and then when you are ready to leave, you simply go to the cash register with you piece of paper. If, however, you lose your piece of paper, you will be charged an absurd amount that is usually around $250 as if you had ordered the most expensive everything on the menu.

Falou,

Time for an update. And how are the jogadores de futebol no Brasil?

Yo MZ! Brazil is the real deal with soccer. I can hang and I even score a few goals now and then, but I have seen some moves I have never seen in the US. I've been playing 5 v 5 court soccer so a really quick rate of play. Basketball, on the other hand, is once again a complete joke. I watched a college game and I think that the Capital high school JV team could have spanked them. Nice portuguese btw. Is that google translator?
Um abraço mano

I thought you played center back (or whatever the equivalent is in 5-on-5)... you're probably like Vidic over there, taller and stronger than 99% of the population. Though I can imagine that a 5-on-5 game would demands that each player contributes to both offense and defense.

Interestingly, Brazil is - along with Argentina - a basketball power on the international stage. I guess it's just not that popular on the grassroots level.

Google Translate FTW! It's getting very good.
